What is San Diego CyberCon?
San Diego CyberCon, is a collaborative effort that aims to bring together San Diego and Southern California’s cybersecurity community and its non-profit organizations together for a world-class event. Our mission is to provide an educational cybersecurity event within the San Diego and SoCal community. By the Community, for the Community.
This is not a profit-driven initiative. It is designed to raise enough funds to support itself, with any surplus funds being allocated towards cyber education and/or other cyber community initiatives in the SoCal region. Part of our focus is to educate children and seniors, as the urgency of best practices of security has not successfully reached these groups. Our local nonprofit Cyber Community Chapters understand the need to bring more education for cybersecurity awareness and best practices to our Cybersecurity Community. In addition, our conference will increase exposure for our cyber nonprofits and help grow new membership with a variety of members, from practitioner, job seekers, students and more.
We are asking partners in our industry, companies, corporations, vendors and practitioners to participate and help make this a reality. Giving back to our community, and educating is what a large part of our chapters do. So please join us on our journey in making this unique event a success, not just for San Diego, but all of Southern California.

Learn more about Herd Security
Herd Security is an agentic AI creative platform built for continuous security training and simulation. Founded in 2025, Herd helps organizations move beyond once-a-year compliance checkboxes, replacing static programs with dynamic curricula that evolve alongside emerging threats without adding operational overhead. Security and GRC teams use the platform as a creative partner to translate practitioner expertise into compelling content and deploy it across the channels employees frequently use, including Slack, Teams, and LMS. When a new threat surfaces, the platform enables organizations to shift from IT tickets or vendor requests to iterative microlessons delivered the same day. This puts the people behind security back at the center, empowering practitioner expertise, making awareness more habitual, and using every interaction to fuel a feedback loop that strengthens the human layer of defense.
